Traveling as a couple is not easy, and it will test your relationship to the limits. It is very difficult to agree on everything and to find what one likes and what other dislikes, from food to places to visit.
Always keep in mind to think of one another and to find a middle space of what to visit, that is why I always recommend to couples if a standard day in Budapest is 4 days to spend there minimum 5 or even 6 to visit all the things that both of you wish to visit.
But to stop talking about how challenging it is and just jump in the 10 best travel places to visit as a couple.
I have talked a lot about how I love Budapest and how it is so close to my heart. This city is perfect if you are located in Europe and wish to take a quick break from a busy lifestyle.
The capital city of Hungary that has everything from relaxing Thermas to amazing Food, you can find everything for both of you. Also, keep in mind that your better half can take a lot of good pictures there.

This city is not talked about enough. The capital city of Austria is one of the most culturally rich and beautiful cities I have ever visited. I know Austria is known for its mountains and skiing, but this city has a fantastic blend of new and old and every couple will love it here no matter when they visited.

If you are from Europe, especially from the Balkans, this is a place where people dream of going. I’m happy to say that I have been there (and hoping to return). From sunny beaches to amazing waterfalls and rainforests, Bali is a magical island in every way. If you are a long-term couple I recommend visiting this beautiful island.
Why do I say long-term? Bali takes a lot of planning from airplanes ticket and how to get there, to places to visit and how to visit them, to getting back home, or even where to stay and for how long, it is very exhausting if you are a couple, but at the end of the day if everything is right, you will have an amazing time and even better memories.

A small city near the Croatian border, Mostar is a combination of a relaxing and one of the most romantic destinations I have ever visited. With its amazing bridge, small cafes, and amazing food it all accumulates in a memorable vacation for a couple.
It doesn’t have a lot of attractions and the city is pretty small, so it is a perfect place for relaxation for 2 or 3 days. Also, it is fairly cheap and easy to find accommodation that both of you will like.

The fashion capital of the world. If you are a fashion-loving couple who loves to eat great pasta and drink fine wine on a balcony, Milan is the place. Located in the upper part of Italy just 3 hours by car from Venice (which is also an amazing couple’s destination).
Milano has everything from food to fashion and you can find anything for both of you. Also, the city isn’t that big so you can easily finish it by looking at the main attractions in about 3 to 4 days.

You mostly know Greek Islands such as Santorini and Mykonos, but there are a lot more mysterious and beautiful islands that have not yet been fully discovered or talked about by tourists. Some of those islands include Paros, Zakynthos, Lefkada, and Hydra.
If you are a couple looking to have just a relaxing time for just of you together and relaxing from all other things in the world I highly recommend seeing one or more Greek Islands.

Located just around 3 hours by car from Venice and Rome, Florence contains such a wealth of masterpieces that it is difficult to separate the city from its artworks, alongside so much amazing art and museums, you can not forget about the Italian food, and trust me it is especially good in Florence.
Bled is a small city in nature in the small but amazing country of Slovenia. This is a place where you just go if you wish to relax from all of the city and technology that surrounds you. From amazing spa hotels to just relaxing and sipping on some drinks next to Blade Lake, this is a prime spot for couples wishing to relax.
One of the most romantic and relaxing cities in Europe if not the World. You will mostly see people talking about National parks and Dubrovnik when it comes to Croatia, but for the couple, Opatija is where you need to be.
Hello! I’m Sara, a Croatian native. I’ve traveled all over the world and have knocked out some amazing cities and countries off my bucket list.
